Summit Hill Hootenanny Fund

The Summit Hill Hootenanny is a free community festival held every year in Summit Hill, PA.  The event features live music, local vendors, and other activities for community members.  Established in 2012, the event draws people from all over the county to Ludlow Park in Summit Hill, Carbon County.  This fund supports the festival and any costs associated with hosting the event.

Previously, the Summit Hill Hootenanny had been umbrellaed under the Summit Hill Historical Society. The planning committee wishes to establish this fund under the Community Foundation in order to ensure the longevity of the event and to allow for the succession of planning committee members.  The Fund at the Foundation will serve as a fiscal agent.
