Carbon County Right From the Start Fund
The Carbon County Right From the Start Fund supports the Carbon County Right From the Start organization and its programming, which promotes optimal early development, learning, and health of children. The program also engages and supports a child’s parents and caregivers.
Carbon County Right From the Start has served Carbon County for 18 years and currently administers programming in the Panther Valley School District for children from birth to age five and their families. The primary goals of the Parents as Teachers program are to increase parent knowledge of early childhood development, provide early detection of developmental delays/health issues, increase children’s school readiness, and prevent child abuse. Family Support Specialists help families identify needs, set goals, connect with resources, and overcome barriers to accessing services.
Carbon County Right From the Start does not currently have its own 501c3 designation and is seeking fiscal sponsorship through this fund at the Carbon County Community Foundation.
