Lehighton Education & Athletic Fund (LEAF)
The Lehighton Education & Athletic Fund was established to support the operations and activities of the Lehighton Education & Athletic Foundation (LEAF) as well as the education and athletic activities at Lehighton Area School District (LASD), as recommended by LEAF Board members.
The charitable goals of the Lehighton Education & Athletic Fund are to:
- Award competitive program grants to LASD teachers and administrators
- Provide financial support for promoting and maintaining enrichment and remediation
- Enrich fine arts, extra-curricular, and athletic programs
- Expand the use of technology in the classroom
The Community Foundation may accept requests of the Fund and will share them with the Advisory Committee for consideration. LEAF may also make recommendations for distributions based on requests they receive. Distributed grants should align with the goals of the Fund and benefit Lehighton Area School District.

2026 Graduates of Distinction
The Lehighton Education and Athletic Foundation is accepting nominations for this year’s Graduates of Distinction.
The program is designed to recognize notable Alumni of the Lehighton Area School District who have brought honor to their Alma Mater through admirable contributions to society or who have achieved notable success in their occupations.
