Friends of CCTI Fund
The Friends of Carbon Career & Technical Institute (CCTI) Fund was established by the Friends of CCTI Parent Group to support and provide new opportunities to students and faculty at the Carbon Career & Technical Institute (CCTI) in Jim Thorpe. CCTI prepares students for the future by teaching academic, technical, and real-world skills. Â
Grants from this fund will be used to purchase equipment and supplies for students, support existing programs, and provide new opportunities for students and faculty beyond what the school might ordinarily be able to provide.
The Friends of Carbon Career & Technical Institute (CCTI) Fund may be used to:
- provide access to extraordinary opportunities for students, such as state and national competitions or events, or field trips for students to help them learn and grow;
- purchase curriculum-enhancing equipment and materials, especially for students experiencing financial hardships;
- and more.
Community members, including CCTI alumni and parents, who are able and interested may donate to the Friends of Carbon Career & Technical Institute (CCTI) Fund. These gifts may be unrestricted in nature (to be used as needed), given for an expressed purpose/activity, or to gifted to establish scholarships. The Friends of CCTI Parent Group and/or community members who donate may designate assets to be endowed, which means funds shall be invested and spending restricted for designated purposes.
