Friends of Lansford Pool Fund
The Friends of Lansford Pool Fund was established to support the Friends of Lansford Recreation, Inc. organization and its efforts to revitalize and maintain the community pool located in Lansford, PA.
The pool was a summer staple for the Panther Valley community until a major leak forced its closure in 2015.
The mission of the Friends of Lansford Recreation, Inc. organization is to reopen the pool to not only provide recreation opportunities for the youth but to allow residents to connect with one another while promoting a healthy lifestyle for members of the community at large.
The group has been working tirelessly with the Borough of Lansford since the pool closed, organizing fundraisers and volunteer days to get it back open for the community. In the summer of 2022, repair work began and the pool is slated to reopen in the summer of 2023.
This fund will be used to support the continued renovation, operations, and maintenance of the pool.
