Elissa M. Garofalo Community Impact Award

In addition to our nonprofit presentations, we are thrilled to also be presenting this year’s Elissa M. Garofalo Community Impact Award to Avril ‘Abbie’ Guardiani!

Meet Our Nonprofit Finalists!

A volunteer committee of 20/20 Circle members reviewed the submitted grant applications and selected the following four nonprofits to present their proposals at our annual meeting.  This year’s 20/20 Circle grant finalists and their proposed projects are:

Domestic Violence Service Center, Inc.

Through its Carbon County End It Now Project, DVSC provides confidential services, emergency shelter, and rapid rehousing for survivors of domestic violence and their families — ensuring safety, stability, and support close to home.

Family Promise of Carbon County

Family Promise is launching a Warming Shelter and Soup Kitchen to provide safe overnight refuge, meals, and essential support for individuals and families facing homelessness during the harsh winter months.

Jim Thorpe Rotary

For 30 years, the Jim Thorpe Rotary has hosted an 8-week Summer Recreation Camp, offering children in the Jim Thorpe School District enrichment activities, meals, and a safe environment while supporting local working families.

About the 20/20 Circle

The 20/20 Circle brings individuals and businesses together to amplify their community impact by pooling their philanthropic funds. Members make a one-time contribution of $1,000 (payable over up to four years) to the 20/20 Circle Fund, which is invested and grows over time. Annually, members gather to learn about promising organizations and projects in Carbon County and collectively decide which project to support through a group vote (one vote per membership).

Not a 20/20 Circle Member?

No problem! Attend to learn about the Carbon County Community Foundation, 20/20 Circle, and our presenting nonprofits. Pledge membership to the 20/20 Circle by the end of the day on October 15th and submit your first vote this year!  Join the 20/20 Circle.
