Penn State Carbon County Scholarship Fund
About This Scholarship:
Established by members of the Carbon County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, the Penn State Carbon County Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to graduating high school seniors in Carbon County who plan to attend Penn State University.
The scholarship supports local students as they pursue their educational goals while recognizing academic achievement, leadership, community service, and involvement in their schools and communities. The scholarship is a one-year, non-renewable award of at least $500 and may be used by eligible students attending Penn State University Park or any Commonwealth Campus.
Minimum qualifications for the scholarship include:

Planned enrollment at Penn State University

Demonstrated commitment to community service and/or giving back to the community.

Financial need will be considered as part of the selection process.
Preference may be given to applicants who demonstrate commitment to the values of Penn State University, including Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Discovery, Excellence, and Community.
